None. VoiceMe does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All voice recognition and text-to-speech processing happens entirely on your Mac using local AI models. Your audio, text, and usage data never leave your device.
Your voice recordings, transcribed text, personal dictionary, and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac and are never transmitted anywhere.
To verify your purchase, VoiceMe contacts Polar's servers to validate your license key. This request includes only your license key and activation ID — no personal data, no audio, no text. This verification is performed on each app launch and at most once per hour during a session.
VoiceMe uses Sparkle to check for updates. Sparkle may transmit your macOS version and app version to our update server to determine if an update is available. No personal data is transmitted.
Purchases are processed by Polar.sh. Please refer to Polar's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment data.
